We will read various short stories, novels, poems, and plays this year. In addition, we will review parts of speech, learn new spelling and vocabulary words, write and publish for different purposes, conduct research, and practice speaking and listening skills. Collaborative learning will be emphasized, and the use of educational technology will be an integral part of daily lessons. Assignment information will be posted on Canvas.

Class Supplies - School issued Chromebook, one subject notebook, pencils, two pocket folder
Homework - Read daily for twenty minutes and study your class notes.
