February 1st: Finish up Civil War Medicine worksheet.  

January 19th and 20th: "A Civil War Haircut"- read the story and complete the work on the back of the article. Due on Thursday.

January 5th-11th: Work on your Current Event #2 Assignment. Work will not be accepted late. Please see your Google Classroom for specific directions. It is due on or by the beginning of your class period on Tuesday January 12th, 2016.

December 14th-16th: Study for your quiz on Thursday. If you don't think you will complete the in class project, you may also work on it at home.

December 1st-8th: Work on your Current Events Assignment. This is due on Tuesday December 8th, 2015 and it is worth 50 points.

November 30th: Complete the questions on the back of the reading "Lincoln asks for 75,000 volunteers"

November 20th-222nd: Work on Vocabulary #3 assignment- directions can be found in your Google Classroom.

November 13th-16th: FINISH YOUR BOOK PROJECT- It is due on or before Tuesday November 17th, 2015. If it is not turned in by then, it is considered to be late, even if you are not in on the 17th.

November 9th-11th: Study for your test.

Novemeber 3rd-16th: Work on your Historical Fiction book project. It is due on or by November 17th, 2015.

October 19th: Harriet Tubman's Theme Song

October 14th: Finish Slave Acrostic on p. 23 of your notebook-due tomorrow

October 9th: Vocabulary #2 Assignment is due on Tuesday; work on book project

October 8th: Continue to work on Vocabulary #2 Assignment; Book project assignment was given out today; it is due on November 17th, 2015. Please look at the side tool bar for a link to all of the directions and pages for the book project.

October 7th: Begin to work on Vocabulary #2 Assignment which is due on Tuesday October 13th.

October 5th: Get notebooks ready for notebook check this week.

September 30th: Continue to work on Vocabulary #2. Study for your quiz tomorrow on the Compromises of 1820 and 1850.

September 29th: Begin to complete Vocabulary #2-you are to use Quizlet to complete the definitions. That link can be found under "Useful Links" on the side tool bar. The entire thing is due by Friday.

September 21st: Students are to complete the worksheet on practicing RESTATING questions.

September 18th: Understanding the Bill of Rights Writing Response. This is due on Monday. All responses are to either be typed or written out in blue/black ink. This is worth 50 points.

September 10th: Finish your Interactive Notebook cover-due tomorrow. Take your time, be creative, and take pride in your work.

September 8th: Begin to work on your cover (click here for directions) for your  interactive notebook. It is due  by Friday September 11th. Work is expected to demonstrate effort and self-pride.

September 3rd: Finish "About Me" if you did not finish in class. Also, please make sure if you have not returned the Academic Honesty Policy and the Classroom Expectations signed by a parent or guardian, please return ASAP.

September 1st
: Take home papers to get signed by a parent/guardian,  sign up for REMIND, make sure to  have appropriate supplies for class by Tuesday September 8th.
