Congratulations!!

The video team from Armstrong Middle School who won a state championship in the 'What's So Cool About Manufacturing" contest was recently honored on the floor of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and by the Bucks County Commissioners. The group, consisting of 7th grader students Mayah Alford, Tom Brennan, Jayleen Chaves, Pyper Goldey, Layla Matthias, and Giovanni Nigro were first invited to Harrisburg by our State Representative Tina Davis. While in Harrisburg the students were given a tour of the state capitol where they were provided a history on the rooms where the PA Senate, Representatives and Supreme Court meet and treated to lunch by Rep. Davis. Afterwards they were recognized with an official citation during the regular PA House session and in took part in an unexpected meet-and-greet with our Governor, Tom Wolf where the students discussed their thoughts on manufacturing. Back in Bucks County, the students were issued a proclamation by the Board of Commissioners, where their video was shown during their regular public meeting. 1. The BTSD Internet Agreement Forms Your child received the forms in their science class to be signed as returned. The form is located online in the Armstrong Handbook posted on the Armstrong Website. The Internet Usage Agreement is on page 25 of the handbook.
2. BTSD Technology Fee.
The technology Fee was approved by the school board this August and is $35.00. This fee will cover the iPad insurance as well as the accessories, which is different than in years past where it only covered the paid insurance but had to pay out of pocket for chargers ($40.00) and cases ($20.00). This has been board approved and is required for all students. Students can pay cash or checks payable to BTSD. NOT ARMSTRONG. Students will hand in the money to their homeroom teachers. In order for us to roll-out the I-Pads, we need to ensure that all students and parents have filled out and returned all required paperwork as well as paying for the insurance on the tablet. Please click on the links below to view/print off the documents. Thanks so much for your help!

Important Information for Parent/Guardians

As we approach the 2019-2020 school year, please click here to review the school policies regarding Dropping Off and Picking Up your children from school. It is very important that everyone follows the rules so that we can ensure the safety of all of our students and staff.

District Grading Procedures

Bristol Township School District is always working to better serve our students and their parents and guardians. After careful review, we are pleased to announce that starting with the school year 2017 – 2018, students will be receiving numerical grades on their progress reports and report cards instead of letter grades. We believe numerical grades provide a more accurate picture of our students’ academic performance. Please click here for additional information on the new policies, honor roll, and information regarding how a student may fail a subject for the year.

SAP

A Student Assistance Program is a systematic process through which school personnel can identify students who are having problems and refer them for help. The heart of the program is a Student Assistance Team, which is composed of school personnel who are specially trained to work with these students. Please click here for more information regarding Armstrong's SAP program.
