Neil Armstrong Winners of Outstanding Overall Program headed to STATE competition!
The Neil A. Armstrong Video Crew were the big winners last night at the What's So Cool About Manufacturing Philadelphia Region video contest! The awards ceremony had over 300 attendees at the Oaks Expo Center, including Montgomery County Commissioner Joe Gale and Eileen Cipriani, the Deputy Secretary of PA Workforce Development. Mr. Marlow and the ANN video crew competed against 25 other schools across Bucks and Montgomery County and won the Outstanding Overall Video Program about their manufacturing partner Marcon Dynamics. Neil A. Armstrong will be headed to the STATE competition in Harrisburg, April 30th! Congratulations on your hard work and dedication!

The Armstrong Tiger Techs hosted a STEM/MAKER NIGHT last week for their school and community. The  Tiger Techs, teachers and staff welcomed

students and their families to explore a variety of STEM & Maker activities from flying drones, coding robots, creating images with green screen technology,  experimenting with paper circuits, building with Legos, painting with Spheros and designing their mosaic tile artwork in the Maker Lab. The Tiger Techs  led the stations to encourage students and families to learn and create together. It was wonderful to see current and future Armstrong students enjoying the variety of stations offered.  Armstrong’s first STEM/ Maker night was a huge success and we look forward to next year’s community event.

I-Pad Forms

1. The BTSD Internet Agreement Forms Your child received the forms in their science class to be signed as returned. The form is located online in the Armstrong Handbook posted on the Armstrong Website. The Internet Usage Agreement is on page 25 of the handbook.
2. BTSD Technology Fee. The technology Fee was approved by the school board this August and is $35.00. This fee will cover the iPad insurance as well as the accessories, which is different than in years past where it only covered the paid insurance but had to pay out of pocket for chargers ($40.00) and cases ($20.00). This has been board approved and is required for all students. Students can pay cash or checks payable to BTSD. NOT ARMSTRONG. Students will hand in the money to their homeroom teachers.

In order for us to roll-out the I-Pads, we need to ensure that all students and parents have filled out and returned all required paperwork as well as paying for the insurance on the tablet.  Please click on the links below to view/print off the documents. Thanks so much for your help!

Important Information for Parent/Guardians
As we approach the 2018-2019 school year, please click here to review the school policies regarding Dropping Off and Picking Up your children from school. It is very important that everyone follows the rules so that we can ensure the safety of all of our students and staff.

Bristol Township School District is always working to better serve our students and their parents and guardians.  After careful review, we are pleased to announce that starting with the school year 2017 – 2018, students will be receiving numerical grades on their progress reports and report cards instead of letter grades.  We believe numerical grades provide a more accurate picture of our students’ academic performance.  Please click here for additional information on the new policies, honor roll, and information regarding how a student may fail a subject for the year. **********************************************************

A Student Assistance Program is a systematic process through which school personnel can identify students who are having problems and refer them for help. The heart of the program is a Student Assistance Team, which is composed of school personnel who are specially trained to work with these students.
