********************************************************** NEW DISTRICT GRADING PROCEDURES Bristol Township School District is always working to better serve our students and their parents and guardians.  After careful review, we are pleased to announce that starting with the school year 2017 – 2018, students will be receiving numerical grades on their progress reports and report cards instead of letter grades.  We believe numerical grades provide a more accurate picture of our students’ academic performance.  Please click here for additional information on the new policies, honor roll, and information regarding how a student may fail a subject for the year. **********************************************************

A Student Assistance Program is a systematic process through which school personnel can identify students who are having problems and refer them for help. The heart of the program is a Student Assistance Team, which is composed of school personnel who are specially trained to work with these students.

This week, Armstrong Middle School began collecting "Tabs For Ashley" to help support the Shriner's Hospital. "I wanted to give back so other children can receive the care I have", Ashley McManamon - Armstrong 7th grader (picture 1).

Ashley began the campaign after receiving what her family has estimated to be more than $1 Million in care over the past 12 years. Another student, sixth grader Charles Gardineer (picture 2), has also jumped on board since hearing Ashley on the morning announcements at school on Monday. The next day, he brought in several hundred tabs he had been saving.

"Charlie has been saving tabs for years. We usually make a special trip and bring them to the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia. He began because he wanted to help people," says his mother.
For more information on "Tabs For Ashley", please see the attached flyer (picture 3). You can donate your saved tabs by sending them in with a student or dropping them off at the school during regular school hours.

Armstrong is very proud of our students for setting an excellent example of kindness and for their continued commitment to improving our community!
PSBA PASA Conference
Recently several of our Tiger Techs represented our school and district at the 2017 PSBA-PASA School Leadership Conference in Hershey, PA. They shared their coding knowledge, introduced visitors to Dash and discussed their role as Tiger Techs. Great job!

Trouble with your I-Pad?

Digital Promise I-Pad Initiative

Thanks to the kindness of Verizon and Digital Promise, Armstrong was fortunate enough to receive brand new I-Pads for the students at Armstrong to help our students to continue to move forward academically. However, in order for us to roll-out the I-Pads, we need to ensure that all students and parents have filled out and returned all required paperwork as well as paying for the insurance on the tablet. Students were all given the paperwork last week. If you did not receive the papers, please click on the links below to view/print off the documents. Thanks so much for your help!
